Doctor Valentin Dimitrov won the competition for the director of the capital hospital "Pirogov". He is again at the head of the medical facility and will hold the position for a period of three years.
Dimitrov was the only candidate admitted to the third, final stage of the competition - an interview, BNR recalls. His opponent, orthopedist Dr. Atanas Andreev, did not make it to the final stage of the competition.

But when the new management of the hospital had to be registered at the beginning of December, the Sofia City Court stopped the registration process due to a complaint filed by Valentin Dimitrov.

At the end of April, Acting Health Minister Galya Kondeva resolved the problem with the director of "Pirogov" by canceling the order for his dismissal, in order to ensure stability in the largest emergency hospital in our country, news.bg recalls.
