Today, during the General Assembly of the Bulgarian Volleyball Federation in the "Vitosha" hall. in Sofia, the People's Representative and leader of the list of the BSP - UNITED LEFT in Burgas, Petar Kanev, was elected by an overwhelming majority as first vice president.
Kanev gained support even more than the chairman Ljubo Ganev.
As priorities for the federation in the next 4 years, Kanev indicated: "Working with adolescents should be among the main priorities of the federation. Every year we see what incredible talent we have and this summer is no exception. The success of the national youth teams gives us confidence that we are going in the right direction and soon we will be able to enjoy strong men's and women's squads.
A new 4-year Olympic cycle begins and now is the time to prepare the program for it precisely, in detail and correctly. We have potential as long as we reach finals and win titles. We must also continue the policy of promoting and creating an opportunity to improve the qualifications of coaches. However, they are the main reason why children stay in volleyball.
