Krista Georgieva finished in 30th place among the girls at the Grand Prix figure skating tournament for juniors and girls in Gdansk (Poland), BTA reports. In her debut in a competition of this rank, the Bulgarian collected 97.28 points after the short and free program in the competition of 35 skaters.
The winner was Mao Shimada from Japan, followed by her compatriot Kaoruko Wada.
Ioannis Apostolou took part in the junior competition, placing 21st in the short program with 43.79 points. The two Bulgarians are from the Elite club. The volunteer program is on Sunday. 14-year-old Apostolou has experience in Grand Prix racing because he made his debut last season.
