The leader of "There is such a people" Stanislav Trifonov has submitted an application refusing to be a representative in the 50th National Assembly, BTA reported.
CEC deletes Stanislav Todorov Trifonov from the list of the party “There is such a people” in the Fifteenth Electoral District – Plevensky, and in the Twenty-fifth electoral district – Sofia, in the elections for national representatives on June 9, 2024, is indicated in a decision of the Central Election Commission, adopted today.
An application was also received from Nikolay Tonev Kolev from the DPS requesting that he not be announced as an elected representative. CEC deletes Kolev from the lists in the Twenty-seventh electoral district – Starozagorski. The CEC also deletes Isa Emin Besoolu from the DPS list in the Twenty-seventh electoral district – Starozagorski, as well as Nikolay Nedelchev Yurukov from the DPS list in the Twenty-second electoral district – Smolyanski, after submitting applications that they refuse to be people's representatives.
Applications have been received by Hristo Hristov Petrov from “We continue the Change– Democratic Bulgaria”, by Ivaylo Vanev Valchev from the party “There is such a people”, from Christian Ivanov Vigenin from the coalition “BSP for Bulgaria”, from Stanislav Dobrinov Stoyanov from the “Vazrazhdane“ party, with which they declare that they wish to be declared for members of the European Parliament from the Republic of Bulgaria and not to be announced as people's representatives.
By decision of the CEC from today, Hristo Petrov, Ivaylo Valchev, Christian Vigenin and Stanislav Stoyanov have been announced as elected members of the European Parliament from the Republic of Bulgaria, therefore they should be deleted from the respective lists of parties and coalitions in the elections for people's representatives on June 9, 2024
