Going to new early elections is a completely realistic option. The forecast was made in front of the BNR by political scientist Assoc. Petar Cholakov and added:
"The deputies from the 50th National Assembly will either elect Raya (Nazaryan) of GERB, or they will go to electoral hell".
According to the political scientist, it is not necessarily bad to go to another election, because otherwise there will be a government of GERB and DPS, which is a return of the country 4 years back in political terms.
Boyko Borisov wants to bring someone from the PP-DB to the new cabinet in order to legitimize him, but he will not be able to, and this is the root of his frustration, according to Cholakov.
"If ITNs go to support a government with the mandate of GERB, in which there are also figures from this party, the fate of PP-DB will follow, he also commented.
In his words, even if there is a government, it will have a short horizon and to patch up the situation.
Petar Cholakov commented on the entry of the party "Greatness" in the new parliament, pointing out that at the local level in the municipality of Vetrino "Velichie" manage together with GERB:
"It is very interesting whether "Majesty" it will not turn out to be a crutch for GERB and DPS, which they have prepared in advance. Because it is very profitable - on the one hand, it grabs votes from "Vazrazhdane", and on the other - it speaks against GERB and DPS, but suddenly it may turn out that it will help them with votes. But that would create a big legitimacy problem. ... "Majesty" it will not work for them, because from the point of view of political PR they will be in a very disadvantageous position".
