Prof. Velislav Minekov: GERB will not lend a hand to PP-DB and these people will be persecuted - 1

The only main goal of Boyko Borisov is his personal survival, nothing else matters.

Prof. Velislav Minekov, former acting Minister of Culture and former member of the "Poisonous Trio,", an active participant in the protests against the rule of Boyko Borisov in the summer of 2020, made the statement to the BNR.

"He is afraid that there may be some twist and these things that were laundered through the prosecutor's office may come back. Making an assembly with Borisov for the purpose of reforming the justice system is like making a wolf a vegetarian. All efforts will be directed towards the survival of the chairman of GERB. But whatever happens, it will not benefit him. And if there is a government, it will be bad for him - it will eventually come to light that he allied himself with Delyan Peevski, and if there is not - he will bear the blame for not having a government. There is no choice," he commented.
"The trouble is that we have the same situation as it was 4 years ago. And it seems to me that it is time for protests!", Prof. Minekov emphasized.
According to him, GERB "will not lend a hand" of PP-DB and "these people will be persecuted":

"I am sure that Borisov will turn the prosecution against them and they will be harassed continuously. He has revenge. He will not forget how he was arrested in an instant, and he will not forget all the anxiety he experienced regarding his survival. So we will witness a series of revenges of all kinds and nothing more than that.
In the show "Something more" the former acting minister of culture also commented on the case of whether the Panagyur gold treasure should be "returned" in Plovdiv - in the Archaeological Museum, or to remain in the National History Museum.

"This treasure is at a special level in the whole world and is not worth these walks. We have a national museum, and in this museum we will show the national treasures", Prof. Minekov was categorical.
