"Every National Assembly must start with hope. Hopes that a government will be elected that will work for people and business. It is hoped that the assembly will pass laws that will benefit the state. Unfortunately, with each subsequent early cycle of elections, this hope quickly fades", said Nikolay Denkov from the rostrum of the National Assembly, quoted by BNT.
"Therefore, any political force that overthrows a regular government without being ready to form a new one bears double and triple political responsibility for the fate of Bulgaria.
He pointed out that only PP-DB managed to form regular governments.
"No other political force has taken this responsibility in these difficult times".
According to him, the last two governments were overthrown with the joint efforts of GERB, DPS and ITN.
"It's not because governments worked badly. They moved Bulgaria up to the middle European levels. Times faster than the GERB governments did.
"We were overthrown so that GERB and DPS could propagate the lie that only GERB can govern. A lie that can win elections, but which has no basis in real facts," Denkov said.
In his words, GERB and DPS got exactly what they wanted - an opportunity to form the government in which Borisov and Peevski have a decisive say.
"Now you have to take charge and form a government because there is no one to hide behind. They have a duty, not to make themselves victims after getting what they wanted.
Denkov pointed out that PP-DB learns from their mistakes and will work to restore people's trust.
