After the decision of the Supreme Administrative Court that the new organization of traffic around the NDK is illegal, the GERB group in the Metropolitan Municipal Council asked for his resignation of the Mayor of Sofia Vasil Terziev and the Deputy Mayor for Transport Iliyan Pavlov.
"Why did this thing happen in the dark? What can they tell us in terms of financial justification? We heard that this will be upgraded. We want to be told clearly how much this will cost. Whatever the amount, it should be clear. This, according to the court's decision, could be an abuse. This is the big question - who will pay the bill,” said the municipal councilor from GERB-SDS Dimitar Vuchev.
Proshko Proshkov stated that when illegal actions are carried out and more than BGN 1 million is spent, this is a crime.
"We talked about bad management, but now as a crime, it has a different composition. There are enough signals to contact the prosecutor's office," he said.
Proshkov recalled that even a month ago they said that the mayor had been misled and requested a meeting with him to demand responsibility from the deputy mayor for transport.
