Deputies terminated the powers of Hristo Ivanov, who resigned as a deputy, reported BNT.
After the elections on June 9, Hristo Ivanov resigned as chairman of "Yes, Bulgaria" and announced that he was giving up his parliamentary seat because of the formation's poor results. However, Ivanov did not submit an application for refusal to the CEC and was registered as an elected representative of 24 MIR - Sofia. Thus, after being sworn in, Ivanov officially resigned.
On its first working day, the parliament essentially renewed an old tradition - the scandals. After Hristo Ivanov's resignation was accepted, ITN and "Vazrazhdane" he and the PP-DB attacked him for the changes in the Constitution. The PP-DB defended Ivanov by pointing out that he was always dialogic.
