A total of 30 drivers were identified over the past day who got behind the wheel after drinking alcohol, the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced. This is shown by the interim results of the specialized police operation for compliance with the Road Traffic Act.
Ten of the drivers were driving after drinking alcohol from 0.5 to 1.2 per mille, and another 20 - with over 1.2 per 1000, two drivers refused testing. Nine drivers were detected driving under the influence of narcotic substances or their analogues, who refused testing - three, the announcement also states.
Within the framework of the ordered specialized operation, 10,921 motor vehicles were checked. 12,766 drivers and passengers were checked. 2857 reports and 591 acts for established administrative violations were drawn up.
