Nikolay Markov: There is a strange collaboration between "There is such a people" and "Vazrazhdane"

We are not involved in backstage negotiations with anyone. This was stated by the leader of the PG of "Greatness" Nikolay Markov on the sidelines of the parliament, reported "Focus".

"We voted for the temporary commission that should deal with the regulations. We had two choices - of "Revival" and GERD. Why is the blame on us whom we have supported? The National Assembly must have rules of procedure. It is a fact that MPs from "Revival" voted against their own candidacy," Markov said.

He said that "Majesty" there is no commitment to support a government proposed by GERB-SDS. Markov insisted that he wanted a meeting with Boyko Borisov, since otherwise the party did not know what to support.

He suspected a "strange collaboration between "There is such a people" and "Revival".

Asked about the upcoming NATO Summit in Washington and who should represent the country, Markov said:

"The implementation of national security is by the Council of Ministers. The fact that until now the National Assembly has not had an occasion to sanction this thing is clear enough that even now the National Assembly is not the act that should sanction it", he declared.

"We proposed what is written in the letter of the law," explained Markov. He called on the president to also express his position on the issue.
