Stoyan Aleksandrov Mihalev, nominated by coalition “We continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria“ (PP-DB), was declared a national representative. This was decided by the Central Election Commission (CEC). He will take the place of Hristo Lubomirov Ivanov.
On Friday, the parliament prematurely terminated the powers of Hristo Ivanov as a People's Representative from PP-DB at his request. He submitted an application for the termination of his powers already on June 19 - the first day of the new National Assembly. The resignation was accepted unanimously with 225 votes, but after a dispute and an exchange of remarks in the plenary hall.
The decision of the CEC should be published in the “State Gazette”.
