Treaties, especially international and woven into the negotiation framework of the European Union, are respected. This was stated by the leader of GERB, Boyko Borisov, addressing the Prime Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia Hristiyan Mickoski.
A few days ago Mickoski commented that there should be a renegotiation of the French proposal, which was a prerequisite for the start of negotiations and the lifting of the veto by Bulgaria on the way to the membership of the RSM in the EU. The document concerns the inclusion of Bulgarians in the Constitution of North Macedonia, so that the country can be accepted into the EU.
Borisov stated that despite the good relations between him and the partners in the EU, the contracts must be respected. “Any interpretations are not good for the colleagues from North Macedonia”, believes Borisov. He emphasized that if there is a regular cabinet, he will initiate a meeting with the Prime Minister of the RSM.
„Without our support and that of Greece, the Republic of Macedonia has no chance for the EU. Now let them be responsible. As they received our support, now they cannot rely on it”, the leader of GERB is categorical.
