All Borisov's energy was thrown into forming a minority government. A part of the deputies, outside GERB and DPS, have the attitude to support such a decision. A second term is out of the question. With very heavy conditions, one can go for a third term. This is what ABV leader Rumen Petkov said in "Day ON AIR".
According to him, it is important to distinguish between leaders and party leaders.
"I would not qualify some of the participants as leaders. It is obvious that a part of them are vitally interested in this parliament continuing," Petkov clarified to Bulgaria ON AIR.
According to him, the government is making too bold personnel decisions.
"The country is in a catastrophic state - the attitude towards the services, the atmosphere in the services, the state of the Constitution and our state structure, the pogrom on the Constitution. If we go back to the past years - the services were not pressured, they were not politically attacked, in the period 2001 - 2009. The rest of the time there was a personnel pogrom in the offices. Today, we have a subsequent continuation of this insane behavior", believes the leader of ABV.
Evelyn Banev-Brendo, who was declared an international wanted man, voluntarily surrendered to the police, and today the court decided to leave him permanently in custody.
"There is a welcoming committee. He has made commitments. There is tension as a result of several failed large drug shipments. Perhaps prison creates a greater sense of life. No one wanted to prove who was on the plane. We miss the opportunity to remember that Brendo was arrested in Ukraine," Petkov recalled.
If people with convictions, proven criminals, explain to us what the political system is, it is an illustration that the statehood in Bulgaria is a catastrophic state.
"Both we and many activists in the BSP have been saying for years that consultation on the left has no alternative. Today's conversation is a solid start to a process that will not be without obstacles, but it is necessary," Petkov summarized.
