It became clear which of the two groups in the Movement for Rights and Freedoms has submitted the application for registration of the trademark "DPS" and these are the people's representatives behind Ahmed Dogan, not those who remained in the parliamentary group together with its leader Delyan Peevski.

"The brand "DPS" has been patented since the 90th year, since the founding of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms", the other co-chairman of the party, Jevdet Chakarov, announced at a briefing in the parliament, in response to a question about an application filed on July 29 at the Patent Office for trademark registration " DPS".

"These are formalities that are currently being carried out," Chakarov explained, quoted by BTA.

Application for registration of the trademark "DPS Movement for Rights and Freedoms" has been filed with the Patent Office, according to a BTA reference on the institution's website. The application was submitted on July 29, but on the department's page it is not mentioned by whom, and today it became clear that it is the group behind Ahmed Dogan.

With the trademark registration application, a patent is sought for political consulting, lobbying, organization of political meetings, textiles including flags, clothing and accessories as well as badges and decorative elements, financial services including fundraising for charitable and political purposes, educational and entertainment services covering organization of conferences, publishing of books and e-editions.

The Patent Office does not allow access to patent application materials prior to its publication, except when there is written permission from the applicant, pursuant to the Patents and Utility Models Act. A patent application may be withdrawn by written application of the applicant if no patent has already been issued. When a document for paid fees is not attached to the patent application, the applicant is given a three-month period for the payment of these fees. If the fees are not paid, the application is considered withdrawn. According to the law, objections can also be raised.
