We do not trust the mayor of Varna and his team and we want them to resign immediately. Education is one of the main pillars of statehood, it is a national value, Bulgarian children are a national value. Any kind of childhood propaganda, especially of non-traditional sexual orientation, could lead to an increased interest on the part of the child and subsequently influence his choices.
This was stated in a position by the municipal councilors from the group of “Vazrazhdane" in Varna Municipal Council.

The mayor of Varna, in addition to being a "victim" is also a bad personnel manager - it seems that he has bet on personnel who do not have the necessary professional readiness to fulfill the positions they have taken. Ladybugs, brought down by the sympathy of the mayor or by party affiliation, but unprepared for the responsibilities with which the positions they hold burden them.
The mayor of Varna is responsible for the selection of personnel, for the choice of whom to entrust the decisions for our city. Unfortunately, it has been confirmed once again that he does not handle either the management or the personnel who make important decisions in key departments and offer them to the mayor.

The holder of the post of Deputy Mayor for Education should know this, given the position he holds. It is obvious that the education of Varna children is entrusted to his hands. A professional with knowledge in the field of education should welcome the ban of LGBTI propaganda in school, if he starts from the point of view of the Bulgarian child, and not from the point of view of the political dividend he will receive when he supports a certain circle of activists.
We are surprised by the reaction of the Deputy Mayor of Education, who holds the position, who expresses indignation at the "Revival" bill, which was passed last week in the plenary hall of the National Assembly. With this bill “Revival" protects Bulgarian children from dangerous propaganda, gives a clear definition of “non-traditional sexual orientation". This was called by the person in whose hands the Varna children were entrusted, with epithets like “dark corrections", and the family and society "irradiated the children with moral panic". At the same time, his position is expressed in a public status, naturally on Facebook, because PP-DB governs the city from there.
We believe that the incompetence of the mayor and his team creates dangerous precedents for Varna and the people of Varna. The children of Varna have the right to conditions for development and education, and we are obliged to protect their physical and mental health. A deputy mayor for education with such an extreme position could make decisions that would violate the law, as has often happened with PP-DB representatives.
We do not trust the mayor of Varna and his team and we want their resignation. Let them submit it immediately!
