At a meeting held yesterday, the National Council of "Yes, Bulgaria" has tasked the Executive Council to hold another round of talks with their coalition partners, with the aim of finding a common solution so that party quotas are replaced by qualitative selection criteria, taking into account candidates' track record, contribution and recognition .
"To propose a concrete solution by which the logic of party quotas will be replaced by qualitative criteria and a candidate selection process based on arguments related to publicly announced accounts of their activity, contribution, recognition, etc. To propose a concrete mechanism for a coalition-wide process of identifying and attracting new candidates with outstanding qualities, recognition, civic and professional standing.
