The Head of State Rumen Radev will award the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Bulgaria Armen Edigharian with an order “Madarian Horseman“ first degree. This was announced by the press office of the president. The solemn ceremony will be held today in the Coat of Arms Hall of “Dondukov“ 2, broadcast BTA.
The state award is awarded to the diploma for great merit for the strengthening and development of bilateral relations between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Armenia.
With the order "Madara Horseman" foreign and Bulgarian citizens are awarded for particularly great merits for the establishment, strengthening and development of bilateral relations with Bulgaria, the president's website states. The order has a ribbon with the Bulgarian national tricolor, has two degrees - first and second, and two categories - without swords (awarded to civilians) and with swords (awarded to military personnel).
