This is what Vice President Iliyana Yotova told journalists in connection with the Supreme Court's decision to remove Cornelia Ninova as chairman of the BSP and the entry of Atanas Zafirov as the representative and acting chairman, BTA reports.
It is my deep conviction that a large part of this political crisis would not have existed if there had been a serious left party and a serious left alternative, as politics, Yotova pointed out.
Iotova also said that the political crisis we are living in is not new. We are waiting for the parties to propose something new, so that we get out of it and the real election campaign begins, and then there is another intrigue - who is better and what is better. The vice president added that the parties should explain how they plan to get out not only of the political but also of the economic crisis in which we find ourselves. I hope we do not create a precedent for elections after 1989, Iliana Yotova also pointed out. According to her, the main question will not be who will win, but who holds the seal of one or another political formation.
Asked to comment on President Rumen Radev's words of September 7, Yotova said that the whole country recognized who they were aimed at. As you can see, no one else objected, except the one who decided that the words referred to for him, the vice president added.
The processes taking place in the DPS are an example that instead of talking about the DPS, as a party that should help with its liberal decisions, the intrigue is who will hold the signature of the DPS, believes Yotova. Let's wait a little longer, let's see what the decision of the CEC and the court will be, if it comes to that, urged the vice president. She added that, unlike many politicians, she continues to believe in the work of the Bulgarian institutions, including the judiciary.
