The topic of Macedonia is part of my essence. As a Bulgarian.
When I was a child, when I was very young, I entered a history contest. I think I was in seventh grade. I felt like writing about the proto-Bulgarians, but when I appeared before the commission, they asked me the following question, just to note that since I am an adult, this was during socialist times. Well, the commission asked me the following question: how can we destroy the claims of the Macedonians that Samuel is not a Bulgarian king with one word? And I was very proud of myself for thinking of the answer and proudly said: Basil the Second Bulgarian killer. Besides, I have seen thousands of times what happens when I sing the Bulgarian songs from the Macedonian region. “Back, back my Kalino”, “When the noises are loud”, “Mile Popyordanov lies ill,“Iovano Jovanke”. We overthrew the government of Kiril Petkov because of Macedonia! Because I may not be understood, I will say it one more time: WE OVERTHROW KIRILL PETKOV'S GOVERNMENT BECAUSE OF MACEDONIA!

Macedonia is part of my heart as a Bulgarian. If it will be called north, south or northwest. We are Bulgarians who love our homeland and our history. I deeply respect the Bulgarians currently living in North Macedonia, I sincerely support and respect them for their courage. I keep thinking about that man Nikoloski's speech from yesterday. Of course, it is humiliating nonsense that history will erase. But, it will never erase our love for Macedonia!
