A meeting of the District Election Commission in Vratsa is planned for tonight, during which the official sectional commissions will be appointed in 2 of the 10 municipalities in the district. Despite the consultations, in Mezdra and Borovan no agreement was reached on the sectional compositions due to a dispute between representatives of one party.
For the upcoming vote in the Vratsa region, the regular sectional election commissions, excluding the mobile and additional ones, are 292, with over 2,300 members, the BNR specifies. The regional election commission in Vratsa confirmed the sectional compositions for 8 of the 10 municipalities in the region. The spokesperson of the commission Siliya Ivanova: "What is interesting in most of them is that the protocol was signed with a special opinion and the presence of two representatives from a specific political formation, but this did not prevent them from reaching agreement and understanding.
In Mezdra and Borovan, the dispute between party members blocked consultations in the municipal administrations, which necessitated that the sectional composition be appointed ex officio by RIC.
"In Mezdra and Borovan, however, no agreement was reached during the consultations, the municipalities sent the documentation by the 26th, we have until October 1st to distribute them, but on Sunday, at a meeting, we will vote on the official distribution, respecting the quota principle".
