Toncho Kraevski: The rules of the National Assembly of the last few parliaments are being violated more and more - 1

Scandals, songs and pulled cables - that's how it ended 50- th Parliament. What else will we remember him by and will it be different after the seventh election in a row? On the air of "Good morning, Europe" at the start of the election campaign, political scientist Toncho Kraevski and sociologist Kolyo Kolev present their analysis.
"The rules of the National Assembly in the last few parliaments have been more and more diligently violated by the majorities. First, they invented entirely new ways of constructing majorities. In the normal case, the majority is created to form a coalition, to form a government. The last few parliaments we see majorities that are hidden or rather open, but those who, while voting together and carrying out some common policy, claim that they are not together and so on. This necessitates more and more exploitation of loopholes in the rules, of hiding behind certain formal solutions," noted Toncho Kraevski.

"According to the latest data, about 2 million will vote. In this situation, all kinds of convulsions are possible. On the one hand, there is no party or organization that can gather hopes, turn revulsion into hope. On the other hand, people who think seriously about politics are more or less withdrawn from it, and they don't go to vote. The agitations remain, the purely emotional outburst remains", comments Kolyo Kolev.
"From now on, it is absolutely possible for any such formations, including small ones, to enter, since the electoral threshold for less than 2 million voters falls below 80,000 votes," he added.

"It is said that up to 9 parties can enter. There have never been so many in the National Assembly. 9 would be an absolute record and this means that the task compared to the previous and the previous parliament is not made easier, but more difficult, because it is likely that maybe 4 parties will have to form it. And no one can say who they will be," Toncho Kraevski shared.
