A woman died on the spot in an accident on the highway " Thrace" near Yambol. The incident happened around 4:00 p.m. today in the section between the 278th and 279th kilometers in the direction of Sofia. A car with a foreign registration left the roadway and fell into a roadside ditch, Yambol police spokeswoman Tatiana Pavlova reported, as quoted by BTA.
The driver and another passenger in the car were transported to a hospital by a team of the Yambol Emergency Medical Assistance Center. At the scene of the accident, procedural investigative actions are currently being carried out. Traffic in the area is not difficult, the police said.
