Regional leader of the BSP and long-time director of a local school, Milko Bagdasarov, emphasized that the event is being held on Teacher's Day not by chance - 70% of the candidates on the list for the upcoming elections for people's representatives are teachers. Education is among the main priorities in the program of the left, which contains 100 solutions for the development of Bulgaria. Christian Vigenin noted that the socialists remain true to themselves and many measures are proposed that affect education.
The leader of the list, Georgi Kyuchukov, who is a teacher, congratulated the teachers on their professional holiday and stated that everyone is grateful to their parents and teachers. He said that he owes the most to three of his teachers - the late Dimitar Arnaudov, who taught him patriotism, Milko Bagdasarov for lessons in diplomacy, and Prof. Nikolay Ovcharov, who revealed to him the secrets of the Eastern Rhodopes.

He pointed out the important goals: “Priority is young people and state aid for housing and birth rate. We must stop the trend of the poor getting poorer and the rich getting richer. Our target is the banks and their excess profits.“
