Krasimira Koldamova – ballerina, teacher and choreographer, will receive the special award “Impulse" for overall contribution to the development of Bulgarian dance, NOVA reported.
The event will take place on October 13, on the stage of the "Ivan Vazov" National Theater.
The awards are presented for the fourth time – for achievements in the field of classical and contemporary dance in Bulgaria. Koldamova graduated from the first experimental class of the ballet school in Sofia (1954) and immediately entered the ballet of the opera. He specialized in the Moscow Academic Choreographic School of the Bolshoi Theater (1958). He won awards at competitions and festivals in Moscow, Vienna, Varna. He is a recipient of the "Stara Planina" order. (second degree) and the title of “academic" of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and Arts.
