„At the same time on June 9, the result of the BSP was 9.6%, by the morning it was 7.6%. This was assessed as a heavy, catastrophic loss for the party. My prediction is that by tomorrow morning the result will be between the sixth and seventh political power, probably somewhere around 6%. Let's see the official data, but this has been happening for seven elections already and I say this from experience, he pointed out.
Georgi Svilenski stressed that the situation should be analyzed by the current leadership of the party. „I want to recall a few things that happened and the goals that were set before the new left grand unification. The first goal was to return those 800,000 votes that, according to them, Cornelia Ninova had lost within three years. But they have not returned 8000 votes even. It may turn out that they won't even return 8 votes, added the former MP.
„The next goal that was set – to expand and the seven percent of the BSP, plus the three of all the left parties, to become something bigger. We see that it did not happen, but the coalition that appeared in June was made up of 3 parties and achieved a result of 7.06%, now we have 23 parties and several other associations and it cannot give this result. That is, what we were talking about, that this left-wing association is viciously created – the Bulgarian citizens understood it”, noted Svilenski.
