Temenuzka Petkova: PP-DB cannot set conditions for GERB - 1

With these conditions and ultimatums, PP-DB cannot help the process to form a government. Thus they undermine the entire negotiation process. Temenuzka Petkova from GERB, former Minister of Energy, stated this to the BNR in a comment on the proposed declaration by the PP-DB coalition.

And he declared that the party would propose a candidate for the Speaker of the Parliament. For her, this is the most logical choice. "There is nothing more logical and democratic than this.

"We will expect support from all responsible parties in the National Assembly who want Bulgaria to have a regular government. This will show how responsible they are, how much they think about Bulgaria and how much they respect the vote of the Bulgarian citizens".

According to her, there is no logic in supporting any candidate other than the GERB-SDS candidate.

This political crisis has been going on for more than 4 years, the representative of the largest party in the parliament reminded and added that this crisis also leads to other consequences. The pogrom in the country is really serious, she thinks.

According to her, the coalition must understand that they cannot impose conditions on GERB. According to her, this is not constructive. "They cannot dictate the conditions", she is categorical and emphasized that a way out of the situation can be found within the framework of dialogue.

Bulgarian citizens gave a clear signal and said again that none of the parties will get a full majority, but they gave the most votes to GERB, recalled Petkova. And he again stated that the main priority for them is to form a stable and regular government.

The first task is the election of the chairman of the National Assembly, Temenuzka Petkova pointed out in an interview for the program "Before all". For us, this election will be key to whether the other parties have a desire for a regular government or whether they will push the state to new elections, she stressed.

According to her, all the talk about cashing in the elections aims to divert attention from the most important issue - that of forming a government: "The most important issue remains in the background, and people expect stability and a regular government.

She quoted the words of GERB leader Boyko Borisov, who said that the party would join the discussion about cashing out if it led to something constructive.

However, Petkova agrees that any violation of the electoral process should be punished with all the severity of the law.

8th elections will not change the situation, noted Temenuzka Petkova from GERB. According to her, it has never been of interest to GERB who will be the Minister of Internal Affairs.

"Regardless of who is the interior minister, GERB wins the elections thanks to the trust of the Bulgarian citizens".

The elections in the USA are extremely important, but I don't think they have any significance for what will happen in Bulgaria, commented Petkova and added her opinion: "We have to find a way out of this situation ourselves, but in order to this happened, we have to look for points of common ground with each other. This is no time for confrontation.
