The president announced that the new parliament will be convened on November 11, which questions what will happen to the election results. Parties that used to be part of the parliament now express doubts about the fairness of the elections, talking about vote buying and fraud.
According to experts, it is these parties that bear the main responsibility for the irregularities, as their members were part of the sectional committees.
"We see that everyone is satisfied with their work, and in the end, we saw many cases on television. If we expect a general decision of all political parties in the parliament, it will be a rather difficult process for me. It is clear that the law was violated in these elections," said the former Minister of Transport Petar Mutafchiev in the studio of "The Day ON AIR".
At the same time, he emphasized that in order to reach cashing, it is necessary to present specific evidence, which is complicated in practice.
Hypocrisy in politics
"There is something extremely unpleasant and hypocritical in this whole situation, in which parties that used to be in parliament and are now in parliament are talking about election irregularities, vote buying and preparing to attack The Constitutional Court because of the election result. The main sin and the main fault for all these election machinations are the parties that had members in the SEC, RIC and CEC. These are the parties that were in the previous parliament and are now in this parliament," said Boris Yachev from "Blue Bulgaria". in front of Bulgaria ON AIR.
He pointed out that the election system has been manipulated many times, and the members of the sectional commissions, who are "proven recidivists", continue to participate in the election process. Yachev suggests that, in addition to criminal liability, these people should be deprived of the right to participate in future elections.
Guests fear that the pre-election declarations and accusations between the parties will make the formation of a stable government almost impossible. However, Yachev and Mutafchiev expressed hope that a new coalition could be formed, but stressed that this would not be in Bulgaria's favor.
