We have decided to support the declaration of PP-DB on the creation of "sanitary cordon" around Delyan Peevski. This declaration will be a step forward in affirming the principles that the authentic DPS has been talking about for months. We will seek agreement on the implementation of measures for the release of personal and oligarchic interests, the state and basic institutions and the restoration of democracy, rights and freedoms for all of us. This was stated by Jevdet Chakarov on behalf of the "Alliance for Rights and Freedoms" during the opening of the 51st National Assembly, reported a reporter of "Focus".
"The atmosphere should be solemn, but today it is not. The reasons for this are the economic crisis in Bulgaria, the low standard of living in the country, the serious political crisis we are in and which poses great challenges to the formation of a regular government. And last but not least - the lack of trust not only in politicians, but also in society in the early elections held on October 27", said Chakarov.
The APS will propose to the 51st Parliament the creation of a commission to investigate the role of Delyan Peevski in the bankruptcy of KTB, the Bulgarian Development Bank and the judicial system.
Chakarov emphasized that the new parliament should elect an ombudsman and a deputy ombudsman, so that the so-called called "home book" from which the president can nominate a candidate for acting prime minister.
APS will also support all initiatives to cash the elections.
"Bulgaria has a huge need for the formation of a regular government. Unfortunately, we are not optimistic about the formation of such. We declare our readiness to participate in talks about a cabinet, and we will be both active and with concrete proposals for solving the country's problems", said Chakarov.
