The fifth attempt to elect the speaker of the National Assembly is coming today, NOVA reported.
At exactly 10:00 a.m., the meeting of the deputies begins, during which they will once again consider and vote on the proposals of the individual formations.
This will be the record 12th day of the first session of the 51st Parliament. Until a president is elected, neither the parliament can function, nor the head of state can start consultations on handing over a mandate for a regular government.
In the last attempt to elect the Speaker of the Parliament on Wednesday, Raya Nazaryan from GERB-SDS and Silvi Kirilov from ITN ran for a runoff. However, none of them gathered the necessary support.
