According to SBU data, 41 Russian strategic aviation aircraft were damaged as a result of the attack on four air bases, bbc.com reported.

Russian authorities confirm that drones attacked areas where at least two bases are located, but do not comment on the information about the damage caused to the aircraft.

According to a source from the SBU, today's operation was prepared for more than a year and a half, and its progress was personally controlled by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and carried out by the head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasyl Malyuk and special services officers.

A source from the SBU confirmed that Ukrainian drones took off from trucks approaching the airbases.

At the right moment, the roofs of the houses were opened remotely, the drones took off to hit the Russian bombers."

The information about the houses from which the drones took off to attack the airbases is also confirmed by Russian z-bloggers.
