I will run for chairman of the BSP, Kaloyan Pargov from the party announced in "The day begins with Georgi Lyubenov". He pointed out, that in recent weeks he has received quite a few nominations for the post and thanks his colleagues for their support.
"It's very easy to run when we're on the rise. The challenge is to stand on the deck as the ship rocks in murky and stormy waters.
In his words, the BSP is in a "special state of transition" - from the management of Cornelia Ninova to the "collective beginning, which is filled with a lot of vicissitudes".
"At the moment, the BSP needs to fix its inner courtyard, iron out its internal contradictions and clear its ideological and programmatic views".
Natalia Kiselova meets the requirements and with her competence is capable of taking the position of Speaker of the Parliament, said Pargov. However, this was not an attempt by the socialists to come to power. According to Pargov, GERB's support for Kiselova is a return of the gesture, after Cornelia Ninova proposed Vezhdi Rashidov in the 49th parliament.
"I don't see a conversation about the future of the state," commented Kaloyan Pargov. He also pointed out that the BSP does not deserve to be a fig leaf or a tool for anyone. He urged the members of the party not to leave it.
"At this historic and critical moment, it is time to tighten up, to gather, to consider the way to revive the BSP".
