The political crisis in Bulgaria continues to deepen, after negotiations between the leading political forces did not lead to the formation of a regular government. Boyko Borisov is the apple of discord. In two months, the deputies have not adopted a single law.
This became clear from the discussion in the morning block of the Bulgarian National Television, in which the former deputy from "We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria" Iskren Mitev, the political analyst Georgi Harizanov and the political scientist Slavi Vassilev participated.
"The big loser is the people, not GERB or the other parties. "There has been a National Assembly for two months now, but not a single law has been passed," Iskren Mitev said on public television.
According to Georgi Harizanov, the main obstacle to reaching a political agreement was known in advance. "The bone of contention was clear even before the negotiations began. The PP-DB's conditions were clear - Borisov should not be prime minister. Nothing terrible has happened - the Earth is spinning, the Sun has risen today," the political analyst commented.
Political scientist Slavi Vassilev expressed the opinion that all political configurations are possible in the current situation. "When you have observed for long enough, without being part of the teams, you see that all configurations are possible. In my opinion, there was a real desire for negotiations on the part of GERB," he pointed out.
