The Speaker of the National Assembly - Natalia Kiselova closed the MECH parliamentary group, and in response, the party leader - Radostin Vassilev, threatened with civil disobedience. Kiselova's action, from a political point of view, is a gift for Vassilev, according to sociologist Dimitar Ganev.
"With this action, she "wrote his eyebrows", he said in an interview with BNT.
According to Ganev, the only result we can expect from this newly emerged case is an increase in public support for the leader of MECH.
According to the sociologist, the government will be based on a common cause - Bulgaria's entry into the Eurozone.
"We are in the process of a convergence report. "After the convergence report is released in June, there will probably be a new narrative if they have decided to keep this government, namely the preparation for Bulgaria's de facto membership from January 1, 2026," the expert predicted.
According to Ganev, entering a new election spiral is pointless. "In new elections, there is no political alternative that would change the political configuration," the sociologist explained.
