We will propose a vote against the robbery of the Bulgarian people. We will propose three topics to our partners - healthcare, prices and incomes and regional policy demography, announced the co-chairman of the PP, Assen Vassilev, after the National Council, quoted by NOVA.
"Healthcare - because of the inadequate response to the payment of nurses, midwives and doctors. Prices and incomes - because the impoverishment of Bulgarians is looming, prices are growing faster than incomes. This is due to the government's policy. Despite high inflation, our incomes and pensions have always grown faster, and now we are on the way back. This is robbery. Regional policy and demography - because money is being given to mayors who take pictures with Peevski's coat of arms, and not, as the municipal program was conceived - to everyone by right. How is genocide being committed in certain municipalities, money is being given based on who is friends with whom, and not to reach absolutely everyone. An adequate regional policy will allow for a normal living environment and not to close hospitals", the PP co-chairman also said.
He also showed a document that he presented as a request from the Minister of Health to the Minister of Finance. "It is for inclusion in the three-year budget forecast of the new children's hospital of 1 billion leva. The construction price is 4,000 euros per square meter. We are hindering them because there is not 60 million for the salaries of young doctors, and this request is being made. The hospital cost a little over 100 million leva when I asked when I was a minister," Vassilev said.
He described Blagomir Kotsev's measure as a "complete violation of the law in Bulgaria. "A dirty machine has been set in motion against a mayor who did not allow it to be bought. We know that we are hindering a lot and we will continue to do so. The government has declared war on the Bulgarian people, and we are hindering it the most. The times of racketeering and robbery are returning, for the first time since 2020. We will vote "for" the votes of no confidence that are being proposed," Vassilev also commented.
