Ozzy sat approvingly on his giant bat throne.
Osbourne told Rolling Stone he was excited to hear each of the vocalists sing his songs, calling Idol a “rock icon” and Keenan “creative force”. “Who doesn’t love a Jelly Roll?” he said. “His voice is soulful. I am so honored that someone I have never met would do this for me”

The induction into the hall is Ozzy's second, as he was first honored alongside the other members of Black Sabbath back in 2006. He was long eligible for a nomination as a solo artist, but it became official this year.
