The Russian Foreign Ministry has accused NATO of using Moldova as a logistics hub for supplies to the Ukrainian army, BTA reports.
According to Moscow, the Alliance is seeking to move its military infrastructure closer to the Russian borders.
During the weekly briefing, the Ministry's spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stressed that a large part of the Moldovan population does not support the country's accession to NATO.
She also noted an increase in arms transfers to Moldova in recent months, which Russia says reinforces their suspicions of the Alliance.
