King Charles III advertises for shepherd - 1

King Charles III's love of nature, gardening, farming and generally life on a farm is well known vegetable gardens and farm animals. In almost all the estates where he spends part of his time, there are functioning farms, writes FOCUS.

And it is precisely for one of them that the king's team has advertised for a shepherd. This profession may sound like something that doesn't even need to be advertised, but Sandringham Palace has very specific requirements for its future employee, writes lifestyle.bg . He must have a minimum of two years experience as a shepherd, adhere to the highest standards of sheep welfare, be motivated and organised, have a UK driving license and own sheepdogs.

His workplace will be at Sandringham Farm and the number of sheep to look after with the "small livestock team" - 2 thousand animals of the Aberfield breed. The herd is looked after in a new building with modern facilities. The future Shepherd of King Charles will be mainly occupied with herding the sheep, helping to round up the herd of cattle in the winter and calving them in the spring. The deadline for applications for the position is September 27, we read on the Sandringham Palace website.
