This was stated by Russian aviation general Sergei Lipovoy in an interview with NEWS.ru. According to him, the target of the Russian armed forces can be military sites that are not located in Ukraine.
He added that if the U.S. does allow Ukraine to use its long-range missiles to strike deep into Russia, "Russia will have to retaliate."
"But no longer against Ukraine, but against the infrastructure, against the decision points, against the airports where the F-16s are based, against the logistics centers and the storage sites for these missiles. We have every right to do so, it will be a sobering move. It is about Romania, Poland and Bulgaria," Lipovoy summarized.
