You drink coffees – no one says whether they are greasy and Turkish, you talk at the same table. You take a break to send a photo that you are talking at the same table. You drink coffees (we already said what kind they might have been)... You talk. You send a photo that you are talking. Everyone in the photo is either smiling or staring at their computers. You take a break. You send a photo. It may be cheerful again... You talk. A whole nation with greater anticipation than Christmas and New Year is waiting for the speakers to say something. But they only talk to each other. And they send photos that they are talking. A year goes by. A new year comes. The new year passes. They continue to talk. And send more photos. And finally... Nothing. This is what is called BG politics. You drink coffee, you talk (only they know what), you send photos so that it can be seen that you are talking, and in the end nothing.
Why
Because of the prime minister!? Because of the one who will adorn himself with the “title“ prime minister – first among equals, supposedly. But he is first, somehow.
And if we assume that the reason for the failure of the cabinet negotiations – with the proviso that this is only for now, is the prime minister, because his name does not bear the name "Democratic Bulgaria", does this mean that everything else was drawn up, sorry agreed upon. Does this mean that the issue of the judiciary, regulators and the potential influence on the cabinet by Delyan Peevski, who has been sanctioned for corruption by the US and the UK, have been drawn, excuse me, agreed upon.
We are used to seeing certain MPs drawing on the front row of the parliament when what is happening in the plenary hall is not interesting to them. And so it is now. You stopped Sarafov as prosecutor general, for example, you sorted out the regulators, you distanced Peevski behind the “sanitary cordon“ – everything is drawn. All the DB's statements are colored in the drawing, but in the end nothing. We don't want Borisov, we don't want Zhelyazkov. So GERB claims that they said “Democratic Bulgaria? They are silent! Everyone is disgusting. BSP does not comment, ITN does not either. GERB does not speak, and DB… Things are deeply silent with them.
And now what is happening…
They supposedly talked about rapid changes in the law on the judiciary before January 16, when the Supreme Judicial Council is supposed to vote on whether to elect Borislav Sarafov as the new prosecutor general. Will Sarafov's election be stopped and will it be done so that the head of the Supreme Judicial Council, Georgi Cholakov, does not remain either… And will this happen with the election of new members of the Commission for Combating Corruption… Apparently not. Why? Because we do not like the prime minister, and even more so his drawings. In the silence, however, only one person is rubbing his hands with satisfaction, because things are going in the direction of Sarafov staying, there being no changes, and the next elections being hey there – somewhere in April perhaps. And how will the drawings turn out then, sorry elections…
The Prime Minister...
In the silence, only one person rubs his hands contentedly
