Against the backdrop of apocalyptic scenes in California, the future American President Donald Trump is about to take office. This will happen on January 20. What lies ahead for the United States and the world after that - the answer is given by a man who has been living overseas for over 40 years and has met with Trump, namely Prof. Yonko Mermerski.
“De facto Trump is already the president, only de jure he is still Biden“, he told bTV.
In recent days, social networks have been filled with very controversial and extreme statements by Donald Trump – Canada covered with the American flag, posts saying that Greenland should become part of the States, and even the Panama Canal, which was supposed to become the “American Canal“.
“This is Trump's way of starting negotiations, because Greenland is necessary, because there are American bases there anyway, but God forbid if they start shooting at Russia and Russia at the States – there will be surveillance from there. And the statement about Canada was a slap in the face to Trudeau, who liberalized the situation to such an extent that 75% of people hated him, not that they disapproved of him“, the professor explained.
He also commented on Trump's claims that the wars would end:
“They will absolutely come true, these things are already being agreed upon, but they are not being announced yet, because he is not yet in office. Trump is a sovereignist. Each leader of a country will be more responsible for his own. There will be no such collective irresponsibility.“
And while two are fighting, the third one wins.
Prof. Mermersky explained that while Russia and the West are “nagging each other“ - China is making significant progress.
