The president of the Bulgarian Football Union (BFS) Georgi Ivanov commented on the derby between Levski and CSKA-Sofia, won by the "red" with 2:0, as well as the unpleasant scenes related to the fans in the stands, BTA broadcasts.
"There was a big fight in the match. "Both teams entered with great tension, but Levski made a mistake and CSKA won," Ivanov said. Regarding the problems with the campaigners, he stated that he does not tolerate what is happening, which the CSKA campaigners did. “We do not tolerate these rockets, bombs, because they endanger people's health. We have to understand that football is a game and people who came to the stadium should feel at ease. We didn't see it today in this match, but whenever Levski and CSKA play there is high tension," said Gonzo.
"On my part, there will be a desire to act, but we have to sit down with the Ministry of Interior and see how we will counteract what is happening in the audience. I think that measures should really be taken, because soon, if we continue like this and do not pay attention, there will be a death and it will be too late. I'm not in favor of not having an away campaigner because you saw how many people came to watch the derby. It's not right that one campaigner is missing, but there should be more serious punishments for these hooligans who endanger people's health," Ivanov added.
