Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc assessed the team's prospects in the Hungarian Grand Prix, BTA reports. “Qualifying was not easy, especially considering the climatic conditions in the first segment, which we did not expect. After that, everything generally went according to plan, but, unfortunately, we just weren't fast enough. Ferrari currently has the fourth, maybe third fastest car. In terms of pace, we are very close to Mercedes. I don't know how everything will look in the conditions of a race, but Red Bull and McLaren, unfortunately, are much faster than us at the moment,”, quoted Leclerc Speed Week.
Charles Leclerc took sixth place in qualifying, his teammate Carlos Sainz was fourth. The first two lines are respectively occupied by the pilots of “McLaren” Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. Max Verstappen from “Red Bull” took third place.
The race for the Hungarian Grand Prix will start at 16:00.
