If China decides to attack Taiwan, Russia will probably try to attack NATO countries in order to distract the Alliance from events in Asia.
This was stated by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, reports Censor.NET, quoted by FOKUS
"If China takes measures against Taiwan, it is very likely that Beijing will force its smaller partner - Russia, led by Vladimir Putin - to take certain measures against NATO in order to attack us", Rutte said.
He also noted that Russian forces are currently dispersed and deployed in different regions.
