The President of the United States, Joe Biden, won the primary election for the Democratic Party in the state of North Dakota, AP reports.
The state announced Saturday the results of its primary election, with votes cast mostly by mail. The party began distributing ballots in February to voters who requested them.
Biden's victory was certain even though seven other candidates were on the primary ballot.
Former President Donald Trump won the North Dakota GOP caucus on March 4, taking all 29 delegates.
Biden and Trump have already secured enough delegates for their parties' nominations.
This will be the first rematch presidential election since 1956.
