Urgent mobilization! The Ukrainian parliament will vote soon - 1

The mobilization bill has already been discussed in the committee of the Verkhovna Rada and will be brought to the chamber at the next meeting. This was announced on Wednesday by the Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine, Ruslan Stefanchuk, quoted by UNIAN.

"As far as I am informed, this bill has already been discussed in the committee of the Verkhovna Rada. Now a comparative table is being prepared for the second reading, and I really hope that at the next meeting this bill will be brought to the chamber of the Verkhovna Rada", Stefanchuk stressed.

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada noted that everyone understands the importance of the mobilization bill.

"But we move, including through more than one law. The President signed a bill that was passed in the Verkhovna Rada to lower the age for mobilization from 27 to 25. Also, another bill that was passed by the Verkhovna Rada regarding the creation of an electronic account of military personnel. In addition, there is another bill that also establishes certain guarantees for our military. Now we are actually working on the fourth bill - these are changes to the Law on Mobilization, which will clearly establish criteria of justice for the fulfillment by the citizens of Ukraine of their duty to defend the Motherland,", Stefanchuk emphasized.

He added that the line committee in a very democratic way and through complex discussions finished its consideration.

Once again, I emphasize that I am convinced that we will have the potential to bring it to the Verkhovna Rada hall at the next meeting of the Rada,", concluded Stefanchuk.

We remind you that in December it became clear that Ukraine should send 500,000 more soldiers to the front.

Ukraine has extended hostilities and mobilization for another 90 days, starting February 14.

President Volodymyr Zelensky first declared martial law and general mobilization on February 24, 2022, after the war with Russia began. Since then, the measure has been extended multiple times.
