Israel's War Cabinet has considered several possible responses to the unprecedented attack on Iran against the country, the media reports, DPA reported, quoted by BTA.
Some of the options are minor in nature, while others are more intense, Israel's Channel 12 television reported this afternoon, saying Israel is seeking a response that would be painful for Iran without triggering a regional war.
The cabinet, led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, met for nearly three hours as it assessed possible responses to Iran's unprecedented airstrikes against Israel, which used hundreds of drones, ballistic and cruise missiles and were largely repelled with support of other countries, the television reported.
Some of the options could be implemented immediately, the report said.
The cabinet also discussed the fact that Israel wants to coordinate measures with its most important ally, the United States.
