European Commission expects gas prices to continue falling as global supplies of liquefied natural gas (LNG) grow, creating room for investment in renewable energy sources, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said in a speech, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA .
"During the energy crisis, many investments were made. A large wave of new LNG projects has hit the market. And we are on our way to move from a global shortage to an abundance of liquefied natural gas," Von der Leyen told the European Parliament.
"As a result of all this, we expect gas prices to drop,", she added.
