Time is not on Russian President Vladimir Putin's side. Russia has been losing the battle for control of Ukraine's destiny for 20 years. This was stated by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, who made a surprise visit to Kyiv, AP reported.

„I came to Ukraine with a message: you are not alone,", emphasized the US Secretary of State. "The United States has been with you since day one" and "we will stay with you until Ukraine's security, sovereignty and ability to choose its own path are guaranteed," he promised in his speech at the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. Blinken emphasized that Russia must pay for what it has destroyed in Ukraine.
US Secretary of State welcomes Ukraine's controversial new mobilization law. "This was a difficult but necessary decision," the Secretary of State said.
