Flight KL1204, aboard a Boeing 737-800, made an emergency landing at Sandefjord Thorp Airport in Norway, skidded off the runway after its successful landing, News.bg reports.
The incident occurred shortly after takeoff from Oslo, and due to a failure in the hydraulic system, the pilots chose to land at the airport located 110 kilometers from the capital. Fortunately, none of the 176 passengers and 6-member crew were injured.
This is the third such incident in the last 24 hours, after the crash in South Korea, which killed 179 people. An investigation has been launched into the reasons for the runway excursion.
